The Universe Rewards the Unreasonably Determined.

Rumi writes, ‘Run from what’s comfortable. Forget safety. Live where you fear to live. Destroy your reputation. Be notorious. I have tried prudent planning long enough. From now on, I’ll be mad.” That’s the beautiful thing about life. Sometimes we are afraid of it because it is full of risks. This is where Courage comes in. With Courage comes a whole lot of Luck. Risk, Courage and Luck reminds us how beautiful life can be. There are those who will argue that we must live a boring life, a stable life, a bland life because this is the safest life to live. For me, to live a boring, stable, bland and safe life is not living. For me, live a boring, stable, bland and safe life is to slowly die of survival. Nothing grows fast in safe spaces. When we have the courage to run from what is comfortable, to live the life we want to live, and dare to step into the notoriety of being anti-ordinary, we can make manifest our maddest dreams in a reality that is full of Love, Abundance, Adventure, Passion and Desire. ….and sometimes, even with a splash of Fear, Anger, Sadness and Rage thrown in as well. To stop feeling the full gamut of these emotions is to feel death. Fear often happens before or after we do something. Fear rarely happens during that thing. So yes, go ahead, feel the fear and do it anyway. If we can fully grasp that some beginnings are actually beautiful endings, and some endings are glorious beginnings, we realise that life is not just full of surprises, it is also full of gifts.
