ODE TO LOVE

ODE TO LOVE There is a Khalil Gibran quote: “Love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.” Have you ever loved the kind of love where you abandon all logic for passion? We live in a world where we are told to not trust our feelings over and above reason. But I have lived with myself long enough to know that my feelings are the only thing that I trust. That is how I love to love. And I have loved enough to know that no-thing is permanent. And that love is everything that is grace and beauty and learnings and evolution and providence and time. To be seen is the most wonderful feeling in the world. To be seen is like coming home. There is another Khalil Gibran quote: “One day you will ask me, “which is more important? My life or yours?” I will say mine and you will walk away not knowing that you are my life.” Often time, love grows exponentially during the moments of distance. So you don’t want to leave anything for later. You want to devour time before it slips away. This is what makes every moment magical. And in the hour of separation, whether or not they played the same game of life and the same game of love as you, it does not matter. For better or for worse, they changed you. In the end, we are always judged by the courage of our hearts. #thewayofthespiritualentrepreneur
